Though talk of a sequel to Dishonored has already begun it will only be after official sales numbers for the game have been revealed that such a discussion could significantly gain traction. While publisher Bethesda has yet to reveal any specific sales numbers regarding Dishonored they have, however, come out to proclaim Arkane Studios’ supernatural assassin title is exceeding expectations.
Moreover, they are using the rousing success of Dishonored to further fuel talk of said sequel. More importantly than talk of a sequel, though, Bethesda has hinted that strong sales over this Black Friday weekend – which saw Dishonored reaching the #1 spot on Steam – could mean we have a venerable franchise on our hands, one to contend with the likes of Elder Scrolls and Fallout.
